Monitoring the entry and exit points of the school. - - -

Ensuring the entrance is staffed by a security officer at all times.

Checking and identifying visitors, e. g. , through visitor passes.

Ensuring that only authorized individuals are granted access.

2. Patrols and Campus Surveillance -

Conducting regular patrols across the school premises, including break areas and

parking lots. - - -

Inspecting security-sensitive areas, such as emergency exits, playgrounds, and sports

facilities.

Ensuring potential hazards are identified and addressed (e. g. , damaged walls, gates, or

open areas).

Activating the generator during power outages.

3. Conflict Prevention and Management - - -

De-escalating conflicts between students, parents, or third parties.

Intervening in cases of unauthorized behavior such as vandalism or violence.

Collaborating with teachers and school staff on security-related incidents.

4. Monitoring Surveillance Systems -

Responding to alarms or unusual activity detected by surveillance systems.

5. Emergency Management - - -

Providing first aid in case of injuries or medical emergencies.

Assisting in evacuation during fires, natural disasters, or other threats.

Coordinating with police, fire services, or emergency responders.

6. Prevention of Unauthorized Access -

Denying entry to unauthorized individuals or those trespassing on the premises.

7. Traffic Control - -

Assisting with the safe drop-off and pick-up of students, especially during busy traffic

times.

Monitoring parking areas and managing traffic flow.

8. Documentation and Reporting - -

Maintaining a security log to document incidents, patrols, or notable observations.

Reporting security-related matters to the administration.

9. Property Protection - -

Preventing theft or damage to school and personal property.

Supervising and securing school events.
