Location: Prampram (with frequent mine site travel across Ghana)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Group Management
Experience Required: 7–15 years (Mining Sector Sales – Ghana)
Compensation: Competitive fixed salary + company vehicle

About the Role

A leading player in the industrial and mining supply space is expanding its grinding media business in Ghana and is seeking a high-performing, senior Sales Manager to take ownership of the market.
This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, strong group backing, and the opportunity to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic client engagement within Ghana’s mining sector.

Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of grinding media to gold mining companies across Ghana
Lead new business development while growing volumes within existing accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with Procurement Managers, Metallurgists, and Mill Superintendents
Navigate vendor registration processes, tenders, and procurement cycles to secure contracts
Monitor customer usage patterns and proactively manage reorders and delivery coordination
Provide monthly reports on sales pipeline, revenue performance, competitor activity, and market insights

Who We’re Looking For
Proven success in selling to mining companies in Ghana (e. g. , reagents, explosives, equipment, PPE, lubricants, services, etc. )
Strong, existing relationships within major mines such as:
Newmont Corporation (Ahafo)
Gold Fields (Tarkwa/Damang)
AngloGold Ashanti (Obuasi)
Kinross Gold (Chirano)
Deep understanding of mining procurement processes, including vendor approvals, CapEx vs OpEx, and decision-making structures
Experience in grinding media or comminution consumables is a strong advantage
Highly self-driven, commercially aggressive, and able to operate independently
Strong professional credibility and reputation within the industry
