We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth and market expansion initiatives in Ghana. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and develop strategic partnerships to drive sustainable growth. This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the Ghanaian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within Ghana.
- Generate leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close high-value deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and prepare regular management reports.
- Represent the company at networking events, trade exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum of 4–7 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of the Ghanaian business environment and regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to travel within Ghana as required.
