The In-Store Sales Person will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. The role involves maintaining store cleanliness, restocking shelves, processing sales transactions, and promoting products to meet sales targets. The ideal candidate should be friendly, persuasive, and able to build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist customers in-store.
Provide product information and guide customers in making purchasing decisions.
Keep the store neat, clean, and well-organized.
Restock shelves and ensure proper product display.
Handle customer complaints or refer them to the manager when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory updates.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Skills Needed
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to persuade customers and close sales.
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.
Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
SHS certificate or higher.
Previous experience in sales or retail is an added advantage.
Must be friendly, presentable, and customer-oriented.
Willingness to work weekends or shift schedules if required.
