Our client is a fast-growing Business Group with diversified interests in the hospitality industry,
including a portfolio of restaurants and guest service establishments. With a reputation for
innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, the group is seeking a dynamic Group Operations
Manager to lead and optimize its operations across all units.
Job Summary
The Group Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day business activities, streamline
operational systems, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams. This role requires a
strategic thinker with deep experience in hospitality operations and finance management,
capable of driving growth, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring the company meets its
operational and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
• Lead, manage, and oversee daily operations across all hospitality units (restaurants,
lounges, service outlets).
• Implement standardized procedures and best practices to improve operational efficiency
and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor service quality, enforce brand standards, and ensure compliance with health and
safety regulations.
Financial Oversight
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across all units.
• Monitor and control operational costs to improve profitability.
• Conduct regular financial performance reviews and provide insights for business
improvement.
Strategic Leadership
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute business strategies aligned
with organizational goals.
• Identify new business opportunities and operational risks, and recommend data-driven
solutions.
• Support expansion projects, including new outlet setups or revamps.
People Management
• Supervise and mentor unit managers and department heads to ensure accountability and
high performance.
• Oversee staffing needs, training, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a performance-driven, customer-focused culture.
Reporting & Communication
• Generate and present operational performance reports to senior management.
• Act as a liaison between head office and operational units to ensure alignment and
transparency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, or
related field. MBA or professional finance certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in operations management, with a strong background
in hospitality or restaurant chains.
• Proven experience in financial operations (budgeting, analysis, cost control, reporting).
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
