We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Supervisor with strong electronics knowledge to oversee the maintenance and performance of various production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on mechanical expertise with electronic systems understanding to ensure equipment uptime, process reliability, and safety compliance across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Technical Supervision
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electro-mechanical production machinery.
• Supervise and support a team of technicians to ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of machine breakdowns.
• Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical and electrical failures, ensuring preventive actions are implemented.
• Monitor machine health and coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Production Support
• Ensure all production machinery—including conveyors, packaging equipment, CNCs, injection molders, hydraulic systems, and PLC-based machines—operate efficiently.
• Liaise with production supervisors to minimize downtime and optimize line performance.
• Assist in equipment calibration, automation upgrades, and control panel troubleshooting.
Team Management
• Train, mentor, and lead a team of maintenance technicians in both mechanical and basic electronic maintenance procedures.
• Assign daily work tasks, track performance, and maintain discipline and safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to company safety procedures and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain maintenance logs, machine history records, and downtime analysis reports.
• Recommend spare parts inventory needs based on machine usage and repair history.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to machinery and plant equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Strong background in mechanical maintenance with working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems.
• Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setup.
• Skilled in troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, sensors, relays, HMIs, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Familiar with CMMS systems, maintenance KPIs, and root cause tools (e.g., 5-Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/drawings.
