Warehouse Keeper (Accounting Background)
Job Purpose:
To manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring alignment with financial controls. The role combines warehouse management with accounting support to uphold inventory integrity and cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and manual logs.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with accounting records.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering processes as necessary.
• Ensure all goods are properly labeled, categorized, and stored to avoid damage or loss.
• Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to track inventory costs and movements.
• Prepare inventory and warehouse reports for management review.
• Enforce compliance with safety standards, security policies, and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation and inventory tracking.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory management with accounting exposure.
• Knowledge of inventory software and ERP systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
