Job Summary:
DLP Africa is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Associate with a successful background in telecommunications or software solution sales. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships, with a strong emphasis on B2B sales. This hybrid position offers flexibility for both in-office and remote work.



Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within telecom, software, and enterprise communication sectors.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, and technical) to ensure client satisfaction.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of all sales activities.
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.


Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in telecom or software solutions.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.


Bonus Points:
Experience selling SaaS or enterprise cloud solutions.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Vtiger.
Strong network or existing client base in the telecom or IT sector.
Experience with solution-based selling and consultative sales approaches.
Certification in sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler).
