ob Title: Head of Human Resources
Location: Accra, Ghana
Contract Type: Permanent (6-month probationary period)
Reports To: Chief Operations Officer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead and manage group-wide HR operations across multiple countries. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all core HR functions including performance management, recruitment, payroll, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development. The role ensures seamless HR service delivery, policy alignment, and employee engagement while driving efficiency and compliance across regions.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
Provide strategic leadership to HR teams across countries, aligning operations with business objectives
Mentor and develop HR personnel, ensuring high service standards and confidentiality
Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems

2. HR Budgeting & Metrics
Develop and manage the group-wide HR budget, including staffing, training, and benefits
Monitor key HR metrics (attrition, headcount, costs) and provide insights to leadership
Coordinate internal/external HR audits across jurisdictions
Ensure data accuracy in HR systems and organizational dashboards

3. Payroll & Benefits
Oversee payroll processes across countries and act as the escalation point for payroll/benefits issues
Lead benefits administration and negotiate with vendors as needed
Ensure timely and accurate updates to payroll systems

4. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Oversee recruitment strategies and employer branding to attract top talent
Ensure consistency in onboarding processes and induction programs
Standardize recruitment and onboarding practices group-wide

5. Performance Management
Lead the implementation of performance management frameworks (e.g., Zoho People)
Align departmental performance outcomes with business goals
Oversee improvement plans and staff development initiatives

6. Employee Relations & Workplace Conduct
Serve as lead advisor for complex employee relations cases
Ensure consistent application of grievance and disciplinary processes
Promote an inclusive culture through engagement and behavior policies

7. HR Administration & Compliance
Review and approve HR documentation (contracts, promotions, compensation changes)
Ensure legal and policy compliance across all regions
Lead periodic policy reviews and coordinate with legal/compliance teams

8. Learning & Development (L&D)
Design and implement an L&D framework to build future capabilities
Promote leadership development and a culture of continuous learning
Evaluate training effectiveness and ensure ROI on learning initiatives

9. Organizational Support
Provide HR support for restructures, transfers, promotions, and compensation reviews
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is highly desirable
Minimum 8 years’ progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a senior/group leadership role
Strong understanding of labor law compliance across different jurisdictions
Proven experience managing complex HR operations in dynamic environments
Experience in the technology or data center sector is an advantage
