Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Department: Health and Safety

Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join our team at our Cement Factory. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will lead all health and safety efforts across the plant and champion a safety-first culture in a high-risk industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance audits across the facility.
• Organize and facilitate training programs for employees, supervisors, and contractors on health and safety practices.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures to eliminate future risks.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international health and safety laws, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Maintain safety records, prepare reports, and present findings to the Plant Manager and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with operational and maintenance teams to embed safety practices into daily workflows.
• Promote a strong culture of safety awareness, employee involvement, and behavioral safety programs.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health and safety leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), NEBOSH, CIH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of occupational health regulations and industrial safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive safety initiatives, and influence across all levels of an organization.
• Exceptional communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
