ICT Teacher

We are looking for a committed, professional ICT teacher to join our school. The successful candidate will be familiar with the Cambridge curriculum and will help our pupils grow academically, morally, and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach ICT in line with the Cambridge curriculum, covering digital literacy, software applications and responsible technology use.

• Lead practical computer lab sessions and keep ICT equipment and software in good working order.

• Prepare pupils for Cambridge assessments using past papers, practical tasks and regular feedback. • Take responsibility for the academic progress of every child in your class.

• Prepare teaching materials a day in advance and submit them to Management for review.

• Keep accurate, up to date records of pupil progress and prepare school reports.

• Keep the classroom orderly, safe and ready for learning before each school day begins.

• Care for all teaching and learning materials entrusted to you.

• Promote good behaviour and strong character, applying only the discipline procedures set out in the school handbook.

• Work as part of a team, cooperating with the Principal, Head Teacher and colleagues.

• Attend staff meetings, workshops, seminars and training organised by the school.

• Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the Principal.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in ICT, Computer Science or a related field, and a teaching qualification where possible.

• Familiarity with the Cambridge ICT curriculum and assessments.

• A professional attitude, strong leadership and a commitment to the school's vision.

• Punctuality and reliability, with readiness to report when duty demands.
