A leading international school is seeking an experienced and passionate Physics Teacher to join its Secondary School teaching team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics instruction, preparing students for international examinations, and creating an engaging learning environment that encourages scientific thinking, inquiry, and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics at the Secondary School level in accordance with the school's international curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
- Prepare students for relevant international examinations.
- Conduct and supervise practical laboratory activities and experiments.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop teaching resources, lesson plans, assessments, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate student records and monitor academic progress.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in departmental activities.
- Contribute to the wider academic and extracurricular life of the school.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Physics at Secondary School level.
- Previous experience teaching Physics in an international school is mandatory.
- Experience with an international curriculum such as IGCSE, Cambridge, IB, or an equivalent international curriculum will be highly advantageous.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use modern teaching methods and educational technology.
- Passion for teaching, student development, and academic excellence.
