We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Assistant Cook to support the Cook and other kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Cook with daily food preparation.
Wash, peel, chop, cut, and prepare ingredients.
Assist with cooking and plating meals as directed.
Keep the kitchen, utensils, and equipment clean and organized.
Wash dishes and cooking utensils when required.
Store food and ingredients properly.
Assist with receiving and arranging kitchen supplies.
Maintain good food hygiene and sanitation standards.
Help reduce food wastage.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods.
Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Cook or management.
Requirements
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Hardworking, punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be physically fit for kitchen duties.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
Must live in or around Osu, Adabraka, Circle, or Ridge.
