Job Details
Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant's menu and recipes
Ensure food is prepared to quality, taste, and hygiene standards
Manage portioning and minimize food wastage
Supervise and guide the assistant cook during meal prep
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and cooking equipment
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
Good knowledge of local and/or continental dishes
Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Strong hygiene and food safety.
