Physics Teacher

• Plan and deliver Physics lessons in line with the Cambridge International curriculum for IGCSE and A Level

• Design practical, laboratory-based experiences that build scientific inquiry skills

• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and exam preparation support

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and ability levels

• Maintain a safe, well-organized laboratory environment and manage equipment and materials

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and cross-subject projects

• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress

• Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a closely related field (Master's degree an advantage)

• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B. Ed, or equivalent)

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, with prior experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Physics syllabi and assessment objectives

• Demonstrated ability to diversify teaching methods and materials to meet varied student needs and learning paces

• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency with digital teaching tools and learning management systems is an added advantage
