TRUCK DRIVER

 Drive safely and deliver products accurately and on time.

 Load and offload goods, collect empty bottles, and verify delivery quantities.

 Carry out daily vehicle checks, including oil, tyres, brakes, lights, fuel, and other basic safety items.  Identify and report mechanical faults or unusual vehicle performance at an early stage.

 Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, deliveries, and vehicle documents.

 Follow assigned routes and communicate promptly about delays or delivery challenges.

 Comply with Ghana road safety laws and all company policies.

Requirements

 Valid Ghana Driving Licence - Class C.

 Previous experience as a truck, delivery, or company driver.

 Basic mechanical knowledge.

 Good knowledge of Accra roads and delivery routes.

 Physically able and willing to assist with loading and offloading.

Personal Qualities

The successful candidate must be disciplined, honest, punctual, safety-conscious, a good communicator, sober while on duty, and willing to follow instructions.

Working Hours

 Monday to Friday: 8:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. , including a one-hour lunch break.

 Saturday: 8:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m.

 Occasional overtime may be required for extended trips or operational needs.

Preferred Residential Areas

Preference will be given to candidates living near Asofan, Pokuase, Ofankor, Ablekuma Fan-Milk, Amamorley, Omanjor, Sowutuom, Tantra Hills, Taifa, Amasaman, or within approximately 5 kilometres of the company site.

Vehicle Accountability

The driver is responsible for taking proper care of the company truck, reporting faults immediately, preventing unauthorised use, and accurately recording fuel consumption and mileage.

Performance Measures

Performance will be assessed based on safe driving, punctuality, delivery accuracy, vehicle care, recordkeeping, customer service, and teamwork.
