The Child Labour Specialist will provide overall supervision of the FAO Regional Programme Leader for Africa and technical supervision of the Programme Officer. The expert will contribute to the regional component of the FMM-funded project. Responsibilities include: - Collaborating with regional stakeholders to address child labour issues. - Implementing strategies to combat child labour in agricultural sectors. - Monitoring and evaluating project outcomes and impacts. - Providing technical guidance and support to project teams. - Engaging in capacity building initiatives for local partners. This role is crucial for advancing the FAO's mission in promoting sustainable agricultural practices while ensuring the protection of children's rights.
