JOB DESCRIPTION – NURSE (DENTAL CLINIC)

Position: Nurse
Industry: Dental Healthcare
Location: North Legon / Madina / Atomic, Accra
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Schedule: 5 days per week

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional Nurse to join a dental clinic and support the delivery of quality patient care.

The successful candidate will work closely with the dental care team to ensure patients receive safe, comfortable, and professional care before, during, and after dental procedures.

Please note: This position is specifically for a dental clinic and not a general hospital.

Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care and support to patients visiting the dental clinic.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health condition.
Assist the dentist and dental care team during procedures where required.
Prepare patients for dental procedures and provide appropriate post-treatment support.
Maintain proper infection prevention and control standards.
Ensure dental instruments and the clinical environment are properly prepared and hygienic.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Provide basic health and oral-care education to patients.
Respond appropriately to patients’ health concerns and emergencies.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.
Perform other relevant nursing duties as assigned.

Requirements
Diploma in Nursing is mandatory.
Must have relevant nursing experience.
Must possess a valid professional nursing registration/licence.
Previous experience in a dental clinic or dental healthcare environment will be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-focused, and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and good patient-care skills.
Must be willing to work weekends when scheduled.
Must live in or around North Legon, Madina, Atomic, or nearby areas.

Working Schedule
5 working days per week.
Must be willing to work weekends when required.
Employees will have 2 days off within the week, depending on the duty roster.
Flexibility with working hours is required.
