ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a growing academic institution based in Takwa, Akyempim, seeking a dedicated and
passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to
nurturing young learners through a holistic, child-centred approach, and will bring expertise in
Montessori methods as well as practical knowledge in Career Technology, Computing, and
Creative Arts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum using Montessori
inspired principles.
• Teach and integrate Career Technology, Computing, and Creative Arts into everyday
learning activities.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and
independence.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and school
management.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and pupils' developmental
milestones.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities, school events, and co
curricular programs.
• Uphold the school's code of conduct and contribute positively to the school community.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school improvement
initiatives.
• Drive student to and from school.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Educational Requirement:
• A Graduate Certificate or a related field; OR
• A valid Senior High School (SHS) Certificate with demonstrated professional experience or
training in teaching.
Specialization & Skills Required
• Specialization in Education (early childhood, primary, or relevant subject area).
• Should have a license and know how to drive a bus.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Montessori Method of Teaching and its application in a
primary school setting.
• Knowledge in Career Technology Education (CTE), Computing and Creative Arts.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a female and a Christian.
Location Requirement:
• Applicants must reside in Takwa Akyempim or within its immediate environs. Preference will
be given to candidates already living in the community.
