Lead Civil Engineer
Role Overview
The Lead Civil Engineer serves as Nestadia's technical verification authority within the local market. The engineer is responsible for independently assessing the physical condition, construction quality, project status, and technical risks associated with properties and developments listed on the platform.
The Lead Civil Engineer provides objective, documented assessments to support buyer confidence and platform trust.
Responsibilities
Property Verification
Conduct site inspections
Verify physical existence of projects
Confirm project status and development progress
Validate property specifications against submitted documentation
Construction Quality Assessment
Evaluate construction quality
Identify visible defects or deficiencies
Assess workmanship and construction standards
Review construction methodologies when required
Technical Due Diligence
Assess technical risks
Identify structural concerns observable during inspection
Review available engineering and construction documentation
Escalate concerns requiring specialist review
Progress Verification
Verify construction milestones
Document project progress
Validate developer progress claims
Provide periodic project updates where applicable
Documentation & Reporting
Capture site photography and evidence
Maintain inspection records
Produce technical verification reports
Document risks, deficiencies, and recommendations
